Well we have a friend that works at a muffler shop soo my other friend has a 07 eclipse 4cyl and he bought a apexi n1 universal muffler and then our friend that works at a muffler shop layed his stock mid pipe next to his stock one and bent it to the same specs with bigger piping and then welded the universal exhaust on. it sounds pretty good on his eclipse soo I am tempted to try it with my fit with 2.25 inch piping. BUT the skunk2 sounds nice.

 

Well think about it some more, but I've never tried any custom stuff. I would be more comfortable saying go custom IF he lets you try it on first and take a spin around the parking lot or something. But skunk2 or any other exhaust has been tried and tested, and I guess you can say that any exhaust that is not OEM is technically custom-fabbed :P

 

I just welded in a 2inch Magnaflow muffler, and the deep tone sounds good for this engine. Plus it was a decent price. 2.5in is too big for this engine. With a Turbo or Supercharger that would be fine. Exhaust systems for this car are way too expensive, for the lack of performance they give. As far as being "baller" Its a Fit, there is nothing "baller" about it. Anyone that blows $1000+ on a exhaust system for a car that does not even have 100hp at the wheel is nuts.
