How much more sound does an aftermarket B Pipe (such as the Aspec) produce compared to the stock B Pipe?
I have an Aspec axle back right now and I am debating whether or not its worth buying an aftermarket B pipe. I just want my exhaust a little louder than what it is right now.
So would it be significantly louder or not even noticeable, compared to the stock b pipe?
Thanks.

Yo yo, yes the B-pipe will help make it a little deeper. You should just run what I was: aspec header, keep stock cat, aspec b-pipe, aspec axle back. That right there is a great sounding exhaust set-up. IMO
the j's b-pipe is not resonated, so it will not give a nice resonated sound. it would be more of a raw, popping, droning, and farting noise. i'd suggest a resonated pipe unless you want your car to be an attention whore haha, or you're turning your car into a track monster that will be worthy of the noise it generates.

I think I am just going to go with the Aspec B Pipe as the price is much better than the J's.
the aspec b-pipe hangs low (just like the megan b-pipe). if you're lowered, there is a possibility that the resonator will get caught in some driveways depending on how well you're able to angle in. i had to sell my megan b-pipe because i was slammed and couldn't get into my apartment garage without coming in practically parallel to the driveway.
for a cheap fix you can buy worm clamps at any auto-parts store and pull the b-pipe closer to the car VIA the exhaust hangars. you can raise it up a good inch to an inch and a half; however, it will still hang lower than the OEM b-pipe.
