What about a hood damper?

We have two for the hatch! Why not one (or two if one will make the hood warp to one side) for the hood?

Comments, research, whatever?

(There's a kit for the 06+ Civics, why not our Fits?)

There is a conversion kit from Oz for these, check the forum archives. The conversion kit was far from cheap in my memory.

Having taken a few hits in the head from weak gas cylinders on customer cars over the years, I will keep the hood prop, thank you.
