fuel injectors

what size fuel injector should I get to push beyond 9 psi?
which brand?
DO I need special connector clips to install the injectors?

Thanks

To support power you want to shoot for a flow size. Byeond that, things like brand really don't matter.

Get RC450cc injectors, those will do nicely for your goals with plenty of overhead. Make sure you get the Saturated (high impedance) injectors. I think there are clips required to make them fit your OEM harness. Clips came with my RC310s in my T1R kit.

rc450 might be overkill for 8psi~10psi

im thinking RC 370cc saturated

You can't hurt anything with injectors that are a little too big. 450s won't cause any issues idling, but injectors that are too small can cause big issues. Lower duty cycles tend to increase injector life.

That said, it probably won't make much difference so long as they can flow enough.

RC injectors will require a spacer for the fuel rail, in my experience. My assumption would be that Honda style tops would be necessary. Reference the emblem on your steering wheel for proof. (sorry, I had to).

I couldn't tell you exactly at this moment. I could take a look at my flow test paperwork from RC at home after work and see if it reveals anything.

it's ok guys i figured it out.. it's really simple and i made it too complicated

in order to achieve 180-200whp, which is really 220-250 crank power. you will need four 370cc saturated injectors. SPACERS are included with the RC injectors.

Get the SL4-0370. It is the one for modern Honda's fuel rail (ie. rsx, civic etc).. then buy the OBD1->OBD2 clip, part number CLIP-HCC.

do not get the Honda Top Style RC injectors as it's for older Hondas with resistor boxes. newer hondas don't use resistor boxes as they use high resistence fuel injectors.

rep me
as im the first one to openly share non biased info.

wheelspin is an unknown quantity at this point
Has no one tried S2000 injectors? They are 360cc/min and the stock fuel pump in 190lph. Best of all you retain OEM reliability and no walbro fuel pump whine. Also, you don't need injector clips...they're a honda part already. Stock s2000 put down around 190 whp which is around what most FI fits are putting down. I have a s2000 but I'm lazy and haven't got around to test fitting, that and pulling the fuel pump is a bit of a PITA to pull.

RSX injectors fit our cars, and I know that RDX injectors fit on RSX's... so my guess will have to be yes.

so it would be safe to assume that the k20/k24 injectors work for the l15a?

to use RDX(K23) injectors on RSX(K20s), you need clips from the Scion TC

how do u know that the normal k20's 310cc fits on L15?

Type S 310cc's are a direct replacement. No need for additional clips BUT you're right bout needing clips for swapobg RDX's into RSX's
