tial waste gate leaking boost

Tial waste gate seems to be leaking boost!!!
how do I find out more without taking the thing off or apart ?

And if I do take it apart what damage should I look for ??

leaking boost?? if anything its stuck open or the spring broke. if the diaphram tears it won't open then you would have a over boost condition. if it's vented to atsmophere you'd here it leaking exhaust, or are we talking about a bov? easiest way to determine if it open is take the hose to the gate off and slowly get on to the car, and if it starts to overboost it's working. if it's stuck open your boost response will suck and it won't boost that high at all.
