installed the T1R kit and while they were taking it for a road tune, while they were goin at WOT boost, blue smoke would come out of the exhaust. wat would cause this and how can i fix it?

pcv set up correctly? blue smoke=oil. so either pcv, engine, or turbo most likely.
easiest way to determine if its the turbo is once vehicle is hot let it idle for like 5min then rev it up(sitting) if a huge cloud comes out probably the turbo.
keep an eye on your oil level only 4qts in there and that could cause problems.
side note did you tap the oil pan high enough for the return?

ok its not the engine cos at first we thought a piston was gone, but when they did it again there was no smoke, and not the turbo either. they did wat u said too.
they said its probably the PCV, they will check it out tommorrow morning. hopefully its just the PCV,
for the side note, Yes they tapped the oil pan at the highest point.
wat do i do if its the PCV?

well it's best to run the pcv to the inlet of the turbo so you have some sort of crankcase evacuation under boost. another good idea is to tap/weld some fittings into the valvecover to allow crankcase pressure to vent to a catchcan or the atmosphere. the poor mans way is to just drill into the oil cap, put a fitting in it and run a piece of home depot reinforced vinyl hose(1/2" or larger) down to the ground.

please don't run a hose to the ground. If you ever go to the track if the techs don't catch it you will blow a very very fine mist of oil down the track the whole time you are under boost and creat a hazard for other racers out there.
if u used the T1R's turbo oil return,,, if it's installed in correctly, the return isn't returning the oil fast enough, so they build up in the tube, which force it back up to the turbo, so the blue smoke u are seeing are the oil from the oil return, do what most of us did, get a stainless line instead of the T1R piece

please don't run a hose to the ground. If you ever go to the track if the techs don't catch it you will blow a very very fine mist of oil down the track the whole time you are under boost and creat a hazard for other racers out there.

a) sorry to take the apparent "mommy" tone, you were looking for answers and said a shop did the work for you so i assumed you were new at this and might be led to think it was OK to run a dump hose to the ground.
b) you ever eat a wall at a drag strip at 120mph? i have in my camaro and the techs came up to me and said they found a fine oil mist on the ground, which apparently was left by the civic in front of me running the same setup that was mentioned here.
c) being sarcastic to someone trying to watch your back isn't just rude, it's pretty ignorant considering i'll probably think twice next time see you need help with a problem that I've probably seen a hundred times before in my time around cars...

i maybe new to this, but i m NOT that much of a novice or wreckless person to let a mist of oil or any fluids that might be hazardous to others blow out like that every time i drive or race. like i said i am a careful driver.

my apologies if u got the wrong impression of my first reply to u, totally meant nuthin by it. but i aint messin with no one or trying to be rude, Although the Lord watches my back for me, i really appreciate the extra concern from someone i have never met, that is very Christlike of you! but hey! thanks for watching my back!!

Anyway, I agree with whoever said it's your oil return line, at WOT your oil pressure is running so high that it doesn't have enough room to drain and is backin up. Make sure you size the return line correctly, your local shop should be able to help you out with that. It has to be thick enough to drain and high pressure but also small enough so as to not cause rapid draining at idle and low pressure. Requirements can differ from turbo to turbo and even from car to car depending on what kind of oil pressure you are running. Good luck!
f**k!! another situation came up! this time i drove the car while my tuner was on the passenger seat with his laptop and wideband. We took it for roadtest, now on 1st gear i dont really feel much but i can feel the spooling and the boost and the sound of the engine, it seem like my clutch is slipping u know. I am not experiencing that proper pull that its suppose to have.... how do i know if my clutch is bad, BTW i have the stock clutch for almost 3years now and i would beat at it before the turbo.

Sounds like textbook clutch slippage. The best way I've learned to check this out is to monitor mph vs, rpm's. I haven't had my fit long enough to know what mph I should be at what rpm's, but I remember in my tiburon the top of 1st was 25 mph. I was achieving that at part throttle but If I went full throttle my rpm's would climb much faster than my mph and I'd be shifting into 2nd at almost 17-18mph. Doesn't sopund lie much of a difference, but it was very noticeable to me. There should also be that distinctive smell that accompanies a burning clutch. Other than that another way to check is if the car is slow to engage gears at higher rpm's
well i wasnt really feeling the pull that everyone is having with T1Rkit! on 1st gear i can shift up to 50+km/h now its like less some where around 40kmh

i'd bet on clutch slippage...I think someone is selling a clutch and flywheel kit here in the classifieds section. It'll be running like a champ in no time and surprising quite a few of those higher end sports cars at the track lol
