psyko is an unknown quantity at this point
Hello and holy krap that thing is tiny!

Hi guys, I am new here. I just got an 09 fit at sport for my wife 2 days ago. I traded in my 2005 Dodge Neon SRT-4. I did it because I promised I would get her a new car before mine. Its a good thing it has pattle shifters because driving an autmatic is killing me after driving a manual for so long. I had to get the automatic because it is easier for my wife to learn how to drive with, another reason I had to get rid of my car. Once she learns how to drive I will be getting myself a car.

Now for my review of the car:

The thing is tiny, slow, and lots of body roll.....but I love it. I can't figure out why. I went from 250hp to 117 and I don't care. My wife doesn't know it but I will be modifying and getting it up to at least 150hp just for freeway entrances. But nothing past that because it will be to much for her.

The funniest moment with the car had to be yesterday. I was waiting for my wife to get out of work and I decided to look at the engine because I didn't look before. I mean, it wasn't a deciding factor for me to look because it wasn't supposed to be a fast car....but holy shit it is tiny. It is a freaking motorcycle engine, I was on the ground laughing for at least 10 min. But I still like this car.

Anyways, nice to meet you guys, I will keep you guys updated with any mods I do because I need more power! Getting on the freeway is a bitch!

Welcome to the forum and congrads on your new Fit. We want pictures! Yes, the engine is small - but slap on a cold air intake and carbon fiber manifold cover and it will wake it up.LOL!!! My salesman could not believe when I asked to see the engine. He said I was the first woman who came into the dealership and asked to see the engine.

Cat :x

i never thought the car was slow until i pushed it. for normal commuting and running errands, the car is plenty fast.
