Post How to remove GD3's head unit/ stereo

I Installed a PA-15-HON-2 by USASpec (i-pod/i-phone/aux modulator)on a GD3. Meanwhile removing the head unit, i took some pics. I wont responsible for any damages the may occur!!! Not recommend for beginners!!!

Remove a screw underneath the AC control.

Remove the panel using a prying tool or a small flat screw driver.

Remove 2 screws that holds the gloves box. And remove the gloves box.

Remove a screw that holds one of the AC control's cable, and remove the end of the cable.

Remove the other two cables from the clips and remove the end of the cables.

Look up from underneath the AC control, you will see this kind of screw on both sides. Remove these screws.

Pull the head unit, grab from the AC control, forward, until the bottom end frees. The hardest part is to free top part!!! I put my hand behind the head unit and push it forward (i dont wanna leave any marks on the head unit or dashboard). Sorry no pics for this one.

the pic of the module.

here is where i put the module

Good Luck!!!
