Wink I really want an Aux/MP3 port...but scared!

Managed to buy my latest Jazz a couple of weeks before the factory fit Aux socket - saw it in the catalogue whilst getting the old car serviced and got a good deal on trade in so got a new one - without specifying that I wanted the Aux. Next time I'll think!

In the meantime, I have looked at the instructions on removing the dash to get to the CD head to fit one myself and think that it's probably beyond me. Have many of you managed it? How simple was it - and haow simple are you

No ICE shops around me seem interested in doing the job and that also puts me off. Grateful for advice (or someone that lives <200 miles out of Huntingdon want a job?

Chris

If it is the same as the US model, then it is will be doable by follow the instruction. I found out 3 things that really difficult for me:
1. To locate and remove the 2 screws below the head unit.
2. Pull out the head unit.
3. Weld the wires onto the head unit (I crimped it instead).

Good luck,
