hey guys finally got ma sport the other day. ive been on the forums for a while but i never noticed how small the battery was untill i popped the hood! how does it hold with a audio system? im not talking about anything extreme but lets say in the 500 to 800 wattage range. will i need anything else with it, capacitors,etc...... im new with this stuff.
You shouldn't need anythign else with it.. what yo definately should do is upgrade your "Big 3". These are the battery to Chassis ground wire, Engine to Chassis Ground wire, and Upgrade your alternator to battery wire(last one being quite difficult and usually not necessary).
A Capacitor doesn't really do anything but hide symptoms. Upgrade your grounds even add a Battery to Engine ground and you should be fine with that kinda power.

Injundon is right on. I am running a Alpine PDX 4.150 which is birthed at 162 watts and have had no problems. Headlights dont even dim when I am really pushing it..
