You can call the dealer and see. They must have some plug that the Sport edition uses. Good luck!

Awesome write up - thanks.
I was thinking the same thing that cycoxtr was
The Sport has that cool little cap that covers the plug when you're not using it.
I looked up the Honda part and found the Sport Aux-In Jack. The part number is 39112-SAA-J02ZA and it lists for $38 - ouch. It's under "console" if you go through a parts search.
I can't figure out what that big connector is for on the back of the head unit. Even if there were a wiring harness available I think you'd have to get the whole B-Connector and I'm sure it would be really pricey (especially if just that jack is $38.)

Where did you buy the CUI jack? I'm planning on doing this tomorrow but if Radio Shack doesn't have it looks like I gotta plan ahead and search for this specific jack.

Auxiliary Port for Honda Fit
I am looking for an MP3 player and am wondering what everyone is using.. Are there any good MP3 players that will hold 30+ GB available that will plug into the Auxiliary port?
I have considerd getting an IPOD and having the IPOD cable installed in my Fit but its pretty expensive..

just get a mini to mini cable, I got one at best buy for $10 and it plugs into the headphone jack of any mp3 player. I also got an MP3 player with USB and a USB car charger, when I shut off my car, it shuts off the mp3 player (so it doesn't keep running if you forget to stop it)

You also don't have to buy the iPod kit if you own an iPod. The kit, from what I've read, isn't even worth it. The iPod will use the aux port using a $5 cable from Radio Shack just like any other MP3 player or device with a headphone port.

What cable do I need to go from my IPod to the auxilery Port. Can't seem to find one at Radio shack or Future Shop. Is it called a "mini to mini" cable? Who makes it (brand)?

Go to a computer shop. The same cable that goes from your computer to your speakers is the same cable (3.5mm male to male). I'm a computer geek, so I couldn't believe I was looking at radio shack and car audio for that cable, which are the wrong places to get them.

If you are looking at audio places, they usually refer to it as a 1/8" male to male cable. Shouldn't have to pay more than $5 for it. It's the same port as a standard set of headphones so you should be able to tell easily which cable it is.

Yeah, it's a really simple cable -- one stereo headphone plug at each end. Radio Shack is the way to go.

You guys got to look for like a 3ft cable instead of a longer one at say 6ft. Ebay might be another good source for the cable. Also look at stores like cableswholesale.com etc. My 2 cents.

I like the Creative Vision:M player. They are pretty affordable (less than $200 with rebate for the 30GB model). The cool thing is you do not need to do a lot of converting since it is probably one of the players that supports the most medias. You can also use the new Windows Media Player 11 to get into the player instead of using the proprietary software that comes with it.
They have a new version out the Creative Vision:W incase you want some more options on it with a bigger and wider screen.

Think you could use this for line out - aux port?
features:- 6-pin FireWire port (female) on 7-inch cable
- line level audio output (right angle 1/8-inch [3.5mm] stereo plug) on 7-inch cable
- works with iPod nano (FireWire charging only - syncing not supported by nano,) iPod color, iPod photo, Click Wheel iPod, iPod (with Dock Connector) and iPod mini
- available in black or white

Hmm...it should work for sound. I don't think it will charge your iPod though.
