DIY Si Seats In '07 Honda Fit
Hey guys, I have just recently DIY the Si seats into my Fit. The side air bag sensors are plug and play into our Fit but the seat belt and the passenger seat sensors need to be re-wired. Here are some pictures that I have taken for my Fit. Enjoy!

I will post more details soon. I installed the Si seats with the Si brackets. The 2 screws in the back fit onto the stock, but the front two needs welding of pieces of metal to make a place to install the screws.
I will give full details of how to hook up the sensors and everything else soon!

DIY of the month for sure, maybe the year as better seats are really important. For me, the airbags in the seats would need to work as new. Having someone injured or dead as a result of a stupid mod is not my way.
Please post DIY pics and we will be on the lookout for seats. eBAY here I come.

looks cool and the bonus of keeping your side airbags is a plus.
but i hate the si logo. not because its an ugly logo but because there is no such thing as an Fit Si.
but i'd def like to see how this is done!

Isn't the side of the Si different from the side of the Fit? I'm wondering if the physical side airbag in the Si seats is the same as the ones in the Fit seats. Would you still get adequate coverage?
Cool nonetheless. They fit really well into the car.
The Si is just stitched into the seat if i recall. You should be able to get rid of it.

The side air bag is basically plug and play. You only need to rewire the seat belt sensor. The passenger side has 2 sensors inside the two rails so you have to remove the box that has 4 plug in sensor jacks (bc Si has 3 plugs). The extra plug is a "weight sensor" that Si does not have. Thats why you need to switch the two sensor boxes and wires into the seats so it will work. I couldnt find the pictures to the whole installation process but I will try to find it and post it up to show you guys.
