Spring Battle!: Spoon vs. T1R

Hey guys,
I'm considering 2 different spring sets, but I'm kind of noob when it comes to spring rates and things like that. I'm looking for very firm springs that wont give much when the car is loaded up and a set that only lowers about an inch or 1.5. Performance and smoothness and not-lowering-under-weight are the most important factors to me.
I see that the T1R springs are harder than the Spoons in the rear. Are the Spoons already hard enough to support 200-400 extra lbs in the back seat/trunk?
Handling-wise, what does have much harder springs in the rear do?

I went with Skunk2 because quite frankly their price flat out beats the other two brands you mentioned.

I wish we had more info to work with.
If you're just going by reputation, It's kind of a toss up because every spring company races their springs in some way.
If you're going by price, You have to consider what the springs are made out of and what kind of warranty they come with.
If you're going by ride quality and overall drop, It's going to have to be up to you because the lower you go the worse the ride is going to be and that's a rather subjective matter.

The fact of the matter is that they're all going to change the suspension geometry, which is going to wear out ball joints and tires faster.

Eibach, H&R, Tein, Vogtland(sp?) Tanabe, Sprint, Skunk2, Spoon...anyone care to point out the real differences. Besides how much better the JDM brands are becasue they use super jdm-magic to make their springs extra good.
