coilover spring rate

i was wondering why lowering springs are stiffer in the rear(tanabe 3.4front/5.0rear) but coilover spring rates are stiffer in the front (skunk2 8front/6rear).

for our cars stiffer spring rates should be in the rear for the oversteer. right?

did they do that for comfort reason? i always thought it was the way they are valved that made the daily driveability rate?

would stiffer springs make daily driving unbearable like driving on roads that are bumpy or small little dips? or would it not really matter?

That is a very good question, mate!

Tein Street Basis "coilovers" are 162 in the front and only 112 in the rear------why?

In fact, all their coilovers (including Street Basis) are 112 in the rear, even the supposedly hard Flex Z.

Usually front spring will be higher then the rear. And yes it will be stiffer then stock one.

For my setup front 5kg rear 4kg. Additional I installed rigid collar
