Fit Sport interior light - under HVAC controls

Hey guys!
just took delivery of my SSM Fit sport on saturday! i love this thing.
have a couple of questions:
Floor matts, any recomendations both cloth & rubber (winter style) where to get etc?
second, the light that is located under the HVAC controls, anyone know what bulb type/style/part number that is? i love it, but wanted to swap it out for a brighter one? anyone done this?

best
James

Fray Adjacent will become famous soon enough
They're 'floor mats', not 'floor matts'.

My name is Matt, and ain't no one puttin their feet on me! :P

Can't answer all of your questions, but I'm thinking I'll go with rubber floor mats.

The light you are talking about is also what illuminates your hvac controls, so if you made it brighter they would be brighter. There is a DIY to add LEDs in there to illuminate the cup holders area. Sorry for not posting a link.

little late

just incase you are still looking for an answer

there are four bulbs inside the hvac that light up all the knobs and switch for recc. or fresh air... there is just 2 holes on the bottom that the xtra light leaks out of ... they are #74 bulbs... just replace all 4 with your choice of color and it will shine thru the holes..

if you take apart the hvac you can see 2 holes directly above the little lenses in the white inner plastic piece, perfect size and location for some leds to shine down and out the lens (into the cup holders)
