More lights

So I decided to add some more lights to the inside of my fit. I decided to install 3mm LEDs to the switches on all 4 doors. Also added a flexible LED strip on each side of the back seat. These will turn on with my headlights.

5mm LEDs went on the door handles which will turn on when I pull out the key (wired to dome light).

Here are the pics.

Door panel drilled.

Door handle with LED installed.

Door panels done.

Door handle installed.

Night shots of the door handle.

Driver's Door switches.

Initial placement of LED strip in the back.

Night time glow from the strip.

Well,
That's it for now. I think I hear some leftover turkey calling me!

Cool. you got any wider shots of the interior? Maybe showing all of them together? Very nice. How are you powering them?

Thanks B.

I'll take some better shots of the whole interior tomorrow. Just got done putting up xmas lights and I'm beat!

I tapped into the headlight circuit at the plug for the ac controls.

I tapped into the dome light circuit at the plug at the fuse panel and then added an inline fuse to that as well.

hehehe sorry. I will tell you this though, if you want to do this job to your car, bring a sleeping bag. I pulled my car into my garage and worked thru the night to get it done. Otherwise, it would of taken a few days doing it by myself!!

That looks really nice - I keep on thinking of getting one around the ignition that is the worst thing to find in the Fit at night even with the interior light on.

Thanks Cat.

Yeah, that ignition 'ring' is what started it all for me.

Thanks everyone. Here are some better pics I just took this evening...I also added a 5mm LED in the dome light just for fun...turned out pretty good. Just enough amount of blue light inside.

Tool,
Thanks! Those are Nokia (sp) pedals. Ebay like 20 bucks and got all three. Then I made my own dead pedal support and pedal back plates and there you have it!
