Smile Steering wheel vibration when cold

I've had my Fit for a little over 1 month and just love it. There's one problem with it, it seems to have a front end vibration at speeds around 65 after it has sat over night in the drive. It only lasts for about 3-4 miles on the highway then seems to diminish. Has anyone else had this problem and what did you do to correct it if you got it corrected? I took it to the dealer and they checked the alignment and rebalanced the tires, but this didn't get rid of the vibration. Any help would be appreciated.

It almost sounds like "the old days" of nylon or polyester cord bias ply tires. Glad those days are gone.

It's not really cold at night, around 60 - 70 degrees. If the car sets for a while, say 8 hours I get the vibration for the first few miles on the highway. There's a slight hum(low frequency) on smooth roads after that. Is this normal??? Is it the tire (Dunlop) Will a change of tire take it away. Can it cause damage to the front end? I'm a bit concerned, should I be?

My Fit did the same thing for the first two months I had it. I think it was because I wasn't driving it every day. I've been driving it daily for a month now and it's gone away. Do you drive your Fit daily?

Yes, I drive it to work every day and have put on over 1900 miles in the one month I'm owned it. I can ususally feel it on my way to work first thing in the morningor if it sat the whole dau at work and I notice it for about 3-4 miles on the highway, then it mostly goes away. I'm going to have my friend drive it this morning just to make sure I'm not overly sensitive to road noise. I read on some other forums about flat spots on the tires and their vibration and how the vibration goes away after the tire heats up on the highway. Has anyone experienced this on their's? The vibration is irritating since the car is only one month old to me. I got it with 4 miles on it.
Thanks for the responses.

Maybe talk to the dealer service department again and see if they'll replace the tires under warranty?

Try inflating you tires a little higher than normal.

Thanks, I'll try that before I take it back to the dealer. They're at 32 all around now. What's a safe amount to increase to? I read somewhere about 40 might do it, but I'm not sure if that's a safe amount. I've got the Sport so the tires are the Dunlop 195/55R15's. Let you know if that works.

36 should be enough for the test... I run 34 and it's fine...

Well, I tried the increase in pressure and the vibration is still there. It went back to the dealer yesterday so they could let it set overnight and drive it in the morning. Sure hope they find it. It was soooo bad on the way to work yesterday it rattled my keys.
