Tyres for 15" or 17"

As the title suggests, what tyres would be best for either a 15" or 17" wheels?

Currently have 15" Buddyclub P1 Racing II SF on my base Jazz, but using 195x55x15 tyres and personally it looks as if the alloys are tiny with massive tyres.
If i were to stay with these alloys (obviously suspension would be Tein Basic Coilovers therefore would be dropped), what suitable low profile tyre size could i get (without rubbing)? I was looking at the Pirelli P Zeros or Pirelli P7000 but i'm stumped.

Same would go if i were to get 17" wheels cos' i want it to look at if they are quite big alloys and thin tyres... not the other way round.

The lowest profile you are going to get is a 195/40 on whatever you decide to pick up. I can't think of any tires that have a 35 profile unless you bump up to an 18" rim.

I am running 195/40's on my 17's, they look like a way lower profile than the 205/40's I was running before if you compare the two. Profile is an aspect of width, so a 195/40 will be less than a 205/40

Cheers,
