Post alloys on my jazz

hi,

im new to all of this and it might seem like a daft question, but i have a jazz se, with steel wheels and i want to upgrade them, i bought some ripspeed 195/50/r15 i fitted them, but i found the studs werent long enough as i could only get less than half a nut full of thread, so i returned the wheels as i thought iwasnt all that safe!
i wondering if anybody else has had this problem or know a way around it without changing the studs in the hub?
thanks

What size is the rim? The dimensions you had listed were a tire size. For example the dimensions for the 15 inch alloys on the GD Fit sport 15 x 6.5 with a +55 offset. You can typically find the offset number on the inner lip (Side facing the brakes) of the wheel.

hi,
the wheels are 15 x 6.5, +38mm offset, the wheels fitted the car tho, it was just the wheel nuts that was the problem
thanks
