n00b with some questions!

whats up guys, I'm new here and new to honda! bought my first honda the other day, black 08 fit and I love it so far! now I have some questions. I want to do rims eventually, and I'm curious as to 16's or 17's. would 16's need a drop to look good? show me some pictures!!

site looks great so far!

I say 16 is ideal and 17 to big for the Fit.
Regardless of what size a drop would make it look better.

GTornado is on a distinguished road
I think 17" looks great but it depends on the car that you have. Such big rims on a base Fit don't look good, you need some additional parts. And please give it a drop, otherwise stay with smaller wheels. It might be that you have to modify your fenders a bit because of potential rubbing with 17".

those 205/40x17, 205/45x16, and 195/55x15 tires are very close to same diameter and when combined with 42-45 mm offset wheels make the 'gap' pretty well disappear. The 16" combo is best for performance because the slightly heavier tire is offset by slightly smaller torque radius. But both look very good. Lowering is your choice but if you do use 45 mm wheels of 7" rim width.
cheers.
