Question Am New!!!

I just got my Fit like a month ago is an '09 base model,I really like my new ride is fun to drive ,so i was wonder if any body can tell me how big can i go with the rims right now i roll on 15" rims but i was wondering if i can get some 17x7 wheels, an later down the road get a sport suspencion without have clearns problem.

Youll be ok with those wheels. What really matters is offset though, and the amount of the drop, lots of variables.

ehhh... 17's don't look good in my opinion... 16's are the biggest I'd go. The bigger the diameter, the greater rolling resistance, and lower fuel efficiency. (Unless you're totally baller and can afford lightweight 17s or something) I'm all about tuning and tweaking and aftermarket parts replacement, but I personally think it's good to keep the excellent MPGs... most people bought it for that reason (not only that though, obviously)

Again, just my opinion, do what you want. And it's great you're on the forum; this is the place to learn to make informed decisions about your ride!

Personally, I'm thinking of going to 16s someday when I have the $$s. Another thing to consider is staying within factory specs for offset, etc. to keep the same suspension geometry and avoid sleeper problems with wheel bearings and stuff. Anyone know the offset of Base steelies vs. Sport alloys?
