Tire Rack doesn't special order wheels such as HRE, Iforged, Boyd, Billet Specialties etc....I'm not saying Tire Rack is bad, I ordered SP1s for my S2k from Jim several years ago, I'm just saying that both sell the same quality stuff.

Overwhelming majority of wheels put on customer cars from DTD have JWL or TUV where I can easily see it. Some on the back where it isn't. A good percentage of those wheels used in racing where service is as hard as it gets. I see no difference in quality. The difference in price is often due to the style and anticipated sales volume but DTD is better priced than TR. TR does have more 'sophisicated' designs on average so if style is your thing TR is a good place to check.
