Confirmed, I got an email reply from them today saying that they are selling Basics for the USDM Fit. Sweet! But I wonder if they're going to sell any coilovers with adjustable dampening in the near future as well. That's what I'd really be interested in.

Yes they should be selling it to you guys soon. Im on Sc type tein, they are fully adjustable... Including dampening. Its been available for quite sometime already.
^^^ right but they don't have them for the USDM fit yet. The basics did come about recently and if you are looking for adjustable coilovers, Buddy Club already has some out as well as T1R and J's Racing.
it's a fit

I don't, but a guy with a Fit went to the solo 1 event and the fit was really fast through the corners with no sign of body roll. The guy was a few seconds behind me (until his brakes fade out) , and he was with street tires, toyo's TR1 ( or whatever thet are called ), and I had RA1's. I have progress springs and sway bar, and my Fit fells great, But I still have the factory dampers and they aren't enough anymore.
The point is that they are way better than my set up ( but the mighty sway bar) that's the price you pay. even they don't adjust dampening, they come WAY better than the factory dampers......

That guy had the TEIN setup? If so, that is very encouraging.
I e-mailed Tein USA back in april this what they said about ajustable coil overs w/ edfc capability:
To whom it may concern,
Thank you for your interest in TEIN High Performance suspension products.
We do have plans to make a Super Street kit released for that car. It should
be EDFC compatible. Unfortunately we do not have an eta on when they will be
released, but please keep posted with us for more updates.
If you have any further questions, please let us know.
Best regards,

I have always liked tein and there higher line is worth the money, but I heard that the basics are fairly bouncy and not as ridgid as the megan coilovers for the money.
I am running tein basic coilovers on my Fit. They are perfect for daily driven vehicles like my own and weekend racers. They are not bouncy at all considering I did have springs before and changed them for the coilover because I hated the ride quality on the springs. They are extremly smooth on the road and handle aggresively when racing autocrossing the car with Toyo RA1.
