Water wetter?

great product that works, used it for years in many things.
On my snowmobile forum, the 150 HP Yamaha 4 cylinders would have the high coolant temp light come on in marginal snow conditions.
But Water Wetter fixed the problem (and a couple hundred people got this result)
It is even more effective with lower concentrations of anti-freeze.
it is like $8 per bottle (a bargain)

If I have OEM coolant could I just add water wetter?

Sure
It is just more effective with 30% antifreeze
less so with 50/50-60/40 and even less so with 75% antifreeze.

I think in Florida, I would siphon out 1/2-1 qt out of the radiator, then follow the recommended directions on the bottle and then top it up with water.

You can acheive the same results as using water wetter is you put in 2 - 3 drops of liquid dish soap into your radiator.
Most people already have this at home so it's pretty much free.
All water wetter does is break the surface tension of the water so that it draws more heat out of the engine, same thing with the soap.
Just don't put in too much or it'll foam up. (only 2 - 3 drops).
Cheers!

The MINI Cooper S engine was actually designed by the same team responsible for the Neon SRT-4. It would seem this team is as competent as they are modest. Though only rated at 163 hp at the crank, our MINI cranks out 166 hp at the wheels.

just a reminder it is illegal to have that in your radiator at most race tracks

I use it in my 550whp/600ft-lb mustang. It lowered the temps about 5-10 degrees. Not really huge, but when running around the track it doesn't push 210, it just pushes about 200. Remember those old big engines don't like high heat as much as the smaller engines do.
