WV Fit Owners

Hey are there any other WV Fit owners on Fit Freak? As far as I know we only have three Fit owners in the Kanawha Valley. 1 Silver, 1 Lunar Mist, 1 Milano Red -just checking to see if there are more?

hillbilly native

I live in Houston, Tx now and just bought my Fit last night and will be in Nitro and Kanawha Valley in 2 weeks from tonight. Was going to bring my Goldwing, but its 1200 miles up and back. It also rains a lot in WV, and thats why I live in Tx because it never rains. Can't wait to drive the hills and curves, not quite as fun as my Mini's but it will do. Best part about coming 'home' every year is the slaw dogs. Frostop in Huntington is always first stop and then Gino's pizza, extra cheese. Look for me between Nitro and Sissonville in my black Fit with temp tags from TX.

WV Fit Owners

Hi Fit 13:

Nice to talk to a replanted "hillbilly" and you will really appreciate your Fit when you hit the mountains. Talk about country roads take me home! The best part of being behind the wheel! Yup, slaw dogs rock and Gino's still has the best pizza in town. Wait until you hit I64 - people really look hard at your car trying to figure out what it is. Everyone tells me they've never heard of a Honda Fit. For now it is nice having a car that you don't see every couple of miles down the road. Gas here is about $3.39 so your Fit will definitely be a good ride to bring home with you.

still hanging on to 2.95

My parents still live in Nitro, so I hear about the gas prices all the time. We are at $2.95 regular. I've drove a few Mini's that required 93 octane and getting 23 mpg adds up. My son is graduating next Thursday here and moving back there to go to college a year from now, when he can qualify for in state tuition. He was born in 89 and we lived in Fayetteville till 98, and here in TX since and he can not wait to move back. Miss the trees and the mountains. Me too, but can't make a living there. I even have 'Almost Heaven' on my ringtone, but it is brutal to hear all the time, very home sick.

NewEdgePerf is on a distinguished road
I can see WV from my shop, does that count? I am located in the Cumberland, MD right along the Potomac River.
