DON'T FLASH HEADLIGHTS AT CAR WITH LIGHTS NOT ON!! Police officers working with the DARE program have issued this Warning: If you are driving after dark and see and on-coming car with no headlights on, DO NOT FLASH YOUR LIGHTS AT THEM! This is a common Bloods member "initiation game" that goes like this: The new gang member under initiation drives along with no headlights, and the first car to flash their headlights at him is now his "target." He is now required to turn around and chase that car hen shoot and kill every individual in the vehicle in order to complete his initiation requirements. Police Depts across the nation are being warned. Their intent is to have all the new bloods nationwide drive around on Friday and Saturday nights with their headlights off. In order to be accepted into the gang, they have to shoot and kill all individuals in the first auto that does a courtesy flash to warn them that their lights are off. Make sure you share this information with all the drivers in your family! Please forward this message to all your friends And family members to inform them about this initiation ritual.

Hell, I'm a cop in real life and I have yet to hear of one instance of this actually occuring anywhere.

Oh by the way I have flashed my lights at people driving with their lights off and nobody followed me home, shot at me, or attempted to rape my dog...

this actually happened in a town near me 4 or 5 years ago. a bunch of upper class dumbshits with nothing better to do would drive around with their lights off and when they were flashed, they would turn around and run the car off the road.

I can't beleive this BS is STILL going around! First time I heard it was when I was a junior in highschool... about 13 years ago!!

Some band member's mom was telling people about it, believed it and was deathly afraid. I told her, so, if a middle class soccor mommie knows about some sort of gang initiation, it MUST be true, huh?

Nowadays, you can just use Snopes.
