OK... Went to bear mountain to scout out a good spot.
One of two places i saw looked promising.
Either a.we park by the lot by our rides (they have a nice setup their of picnic tables) and don't have to lug our crap back and forth.
Or b.about 100 yards from the lot their is a nice spot overlooking the lake. we would have to bring our stuff their and if we leave to go to the pool, zoo, etc... i would think we would want to put the stuff back in the cars.
Either way i will be their around 9am to reserve a few picnic tables.
I vote for Saturday around 11am. This way we get their for lunch and chill and then head out to roam around.

I vote for the 15th on Saturday, Just tell me what to bring and I am there. As a side note just got back from a 1000 mile round trip with my Fit and I averaged about 41 mpg, and didn't see any other Fits on the road in fact the only one I saw was in a dealership, across from the Hotel I stayed at.

OK... so far it looks like the Saturday the 15th @ 11am.
1.) WAVE - condiments, plastic utensils and plates
2.) Leonine - grill, charcoal, dogs/buns
3.) Gettinafit - burgers/buns
4.) GotaFit
5.) Sy11580 - drinks, cooler
6.) Joe_d
7.) Chris722 - cooler, ice, soda
8.) XBriteHID
9.) paowee13 - unable to attend
10).FikseRxSeven
We could probably use another cooler with ice, condiments, more dogs/burgers? (don't know how many to get), anything else?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
paint on order(not from honda - something i found locally that looks similar):
Wave - metallic blue
SY11580 - metallic red? (can't confirm how it will match to Millano Red because i do not own that color)

I can hit up the local BJ's Wholesale Club and get some:
fancy cheese for the burgers
condiments - ketchup/mustard/A1 steak sauce
napkins, plastic utensils, and plates
maybe a case or two of beer? what are the rules in regards to alcoholic beverages in the park? probably a no-no?

I don't think they allow alcohol. The rest of the stuff sounds good.

We need more meat. I will bring some meat. Like more burgers and hot dogs.
From experience, BBQ gatherings never run out of condiments, but we always run out of FOOD!
