So my fit got totaled from my granny getting the frame bent. I ended up searching for another car and just a couple weeks ago picked up my own 1999 subaru impreza outback in manual (oh the many wonders of learning how to drive a manual... also stalling trying to put it into 1st gear from a stop :eek:) - its a station wagon... lol yeah a station wagon. During my search for a new car i stumbled upon the 2008 subaru wrx 5 door.



I think this could possibly be the hatchback segment killer. Turbocharged to kill and hatchback for speed.

No offense, but I think it's hideously ugly. In fact that's the best picture I've ever seen of it. Not only is it ugly, but it's boring too... hell it looks like the old Corrolla. While Subaru mechanically makes the WRX better ever generation, I swear they're trying to make their cars progressively uglier.

i heard they had a new ceo who designed the 07 and 08 front bumpers. but not to worry because of the huge aftermarket, and the 09s should look better.

 

I have a 2007 Subaru WRX White Wagon---it is a sick ride---BUT i have to sell it the insurance is a rape job The premium Gas is Ridicoulous and to top it oFF I can't drive normal with it since it so darn quick I feel like driving like a retard all the time which is stupid- I guess I have a problem --speed freak=ME. :D

 

I think the Fit is dominating the Hatches now.. ;)

 

well i just got news in, the sti is also going to be a hatchback, and it being an sti... its going to shred the hatches :eek:

Yes, the Subaru faithful for the most part are not liking this new design. Maybe it will be nicer in real life? Dunno.....

 

This is my car now and looking to get a FIT instead---in white of course.
Only crappy thing is white is not available in Canada yet.

 

nah, the subaru faithful dont like any new wrx when it comes out. they just moan about it every year then adapt to it and go "well its not that bad looking now that i've come around to it" lol.
