Paddle shifted 5 speed manual gd3
Hello Everyone,
I have a US 07 gd3 5 speed stock .
Im going to be converting the 5 speed manual to shift with mastershift electronic shifter with black paddles. Im very familiar with the mastershift unit but have little experience with modifying cars.
i will need to get ride of the stock steering wheel and use a good aftermarket steering wheel. 5 or 6 bolt preferably.
i will need to get rid of the shifter assembly and use the shifter cable and attach that cable to the mastershift unit .
i will also need to use the clutch cable and attach it to the other arm of the mastershift unit.
Any one who has experience in or any advice on the vehicle please feel free to comment or message .
im from N sandiego ca. Any other sick fits around feel free to sah hi.
Thank you

Now that's a mod I havn't considered for the Fit, although I've looked at converting manuals into sequential before. Any particular reason you want to do it? Other than it's cool of course
I have zero experience doing this of course but since the Fit is cable operated, seems like this should be reasonably straighforward to swap this over. Although on mine the 2nd gear is a bit more difficult/slower to engage especially when cold, so I'm curious how it would deal with this. Good luck!
