Anyone know where to buy transmission parts?

does anyone know where to buy transmission parts for a manual 07 fit? I think I understand now why nobody bothers to rebuild them. Its real hard to find parts. If it were a B, D, or K it would be easy. Synchrotech does not make synchros for it. can I swap 5th with the one from a different transmission?

Just visit your local Honda dealer.

Honda still sells 99% of the parts for the transmissions. Pretty sure the reason nobody bothers to rebuild them is that you can pick up whole gearboxes for $200-500 from scrapyards. I was considering replacing bearings in mine since there is a bearing making noise but after pricing out the cost of just the bearings I can grab a new box with half the miles from the junkyard for less.

You can get the input shaft bearings for like $20 from NTN. Imo a rebuild makes sense because there's no guarantee you won't have the same (or different!) problem with the junkyard transmission. Replacing synchros or gears is another matter as those are expensive as hell from Honda.
