Sway Bar Bushings

I have a 2008 Fit Sport with MT with 195K miles. Absolutely love the car. However, the front sway bar bushings are starting to rattle, and It’s getting annoying. How hard are they to change? Can they be changed without dropping the sub-frame? I’ve changed the bushings on other cars so I am familiar with the process, just not on the Fit yet.

Thanks for your help.

Are you sure they're the sway bar bushings and not the endlinks? The endlinks are a straightforward replacement.

Yes, I have already replaced the links but still have the rattle when hitting bumps, even small bumps in the road.

I had a mystery rattle in my front suspension of my 07. I thought it was the end links. It turned out to be the upper strut mounts. The struts were rattling around when I hit a bump.

You might want to check those.

195k miles is impressive! as for the bushings, i've heard polyurethane ones can be a good upgrade if you're planning to replace them anyway. just a thought
