painted blades ??

so i bought some GEEE ESS AHHH BRAAADES from a korean guy the other day for 200 bucks his son was a ricer and he crashed his integra (ruined the primer body kit lol) the tires are 205 60 15 HUUGGGEE and im obviously gonna rub with the skunk2 springs so im swapping the tires from my sport wheels heress what they looked like when i bought them ..

so after about 5 coats of air craft stripper, home depot stripper, pressure washing and 6 different sandpaper grits including wetsanding and 7 hours in the hot sun ...im thinking about painting them .. im so close to finishing the polish but 2 of the wheels got some curbage i couldnt fix so heres what im thinking of doing...

what do u think ?

theres really only one way in my opinion to rock gsr blades.

SUper Polished.

not a huge fan of painted blades...takes the whole integrity of the wheel away i suppose you can say. heh

well.....the red wouldnt look bad i guess. but im a bit a biased since i rock blades and can only see them polished.

The problem is the blades look like ass under the paint.
I dont really know what you can do.

Paint the tear drops black and the faces red. Wooo, thats a lot of painting and masking.

my opinion are blades are sooo common.. dont really care for them much. i've only seen polished ones so if you wanna be similiar yet unsimiliar go for painting them..

yep black with red lip like i did my HX's back in the day.. i got the wheels down to bare metal starting 150 grit then 220 320 450 wet sanded 600 800 with no mouse or palm sander just straight up raw sandpaper in hand and even after i polished them up they didnt look right.. they looked polished but not as polished as i would like them to be.. so i said fcuk it .. i painted the whole wheel red .. taped up the lips and tommorow ima lay the black on.. its good to go polished when u know somebody with a shop where the can do it for free... sitting in this hot florida sun for 4 hours sanding down one wheel is not cool..
