Those look really fun to drive, and I really like how their front ends look, but the rear design is as if the engineers were like "I give up now, I'm going to bed, see ya"

If it is built to the standard of B.M.W. Motorcycles it is going to make you very happy. I never thought I would ever buy another Honda product after comparing my 1800cc Goldwing to any of the B.M.W. bikes I own or have owned. The Fit changed my mind.

a mini s is still more fun to drive.

my wife wanted one not too long ago. we test drove a base, and it was one of the best handling cars i have ever driven, even with the tiny base tires. the brakes are phenomenal.

mini's are a nice logical step up from a fit, because they have a lot of similar dynamics. (the mini is endlessly tighter though)

i think the dash layout makes worlds more sense in the fit, but i too would have no issues sacrificing that for a cooper s. congrats!

p.s: that mini crossover is disgusting. and i mean that in the bad way.

Nice! I'm jealous.
Those Minis are great little cars. Don't listen to those other guys.
Do you have a little cast-iron snail attached to the exhaust manifold under the hood?
Those are so nice. Enjoy your new ride.

Fit to mini

I was the opposite I had an 06 Mini Cooper S which was fun to drive but it had low clearance was terrible in snow and was always breaking down shorting out etc.. I now own an 07 fit sport which is reliable and cheaper and is better on wet roads only down on power and braking performance but overall I much prefer the fit

It's funny... when I bought my Sonoma, more than one person bemoaned the cargo capacity (You can't even put a 4x8 sheet of plywood flat in the bed!)

I had reservations about trading the Sonoma for the Element. (What if I need to haul something bulky!)

And again going from the Element to the Fit (It's got even less cargo room than a Cute-Ute!)

And the Fit for the Scion (Oh noes! What if I need to haul something!)

In the end: I do what normal people do - call up a friend with a truck, and barter with beer. The trunk is empty most of the time anyway.

Not too shabby replacement. Congrats, I have always love these cars for their fun factor and go-cart handling.
