Finally joined the accident club.

Yup, side swiped by a gray hair in a 08 Impala. She wanted my lane more than me. Door is dented but not creased, and there is a dent on the quarter panel between the door and the wheel well that is going to probably get bondo. I hate bondo. Getting the repair quote tomorrow.

Yeah, she was cited by the police for failure to yield and reckless driving. But my insurance company has to sue her since her policy expired seven months ago with no renewal.

that's not too bad man. Shouldn't cost you anything since it's her fault, right? I dunno anything about accidents and fault and insurance lol.

Had someone door ding my Fit yesterday. Looks like there's three of us who got hit in the same day!

On the bright side, the wife has given me permission (you've got to get that when you're married) to get the -WIDE- body side moldings from Zeta if the repair will cost more than $150. She's also said I can get the dead pedal since the shipping will be less if I buy both.

Sorry to hear that you got hit. Good to know that she will have to foot the bill for the repairs. Hope they get
her off the road since she did not seem to be looking.

Cat :x

The reason its so high is they are replacing the outer door panel. I really don't like body filler so the guy did the estimate with replacing the door panel. I figure if I'm not paying for it, why go cheap.
