How would you rate the heating system in Fit???

I don't know what some of you guys are complaining about despite only having a 1.5L motor, I have to deal with -40 weather on occasion; my Fit's heating system does a fantastic job of keeping me warm... even my toes which felt like they might freeze off when I used to drive my 4.0L Jeep Cherokee.

Ask, and ye shall receive.
Bernardi has the block heater for $46.80 . Looks like you'll also need a bracket kit, which they sell for $6.44 .
That said, I am happy with the amount of heat generated by my Fit's HVAC system. What I'm not happy about is the vent placement. On my hour-long commute to work, the top half of my legs never gets warm. The under-dash vents don't direct enough heat up, and I can't adjust the dash vents low enough to get any airflow to my legs. First time I've ever had a car that did this.

errm...
im too lazy to read the whole thread lol so im going to respond to the thread title itself. the back seat passangers have been complaining that they dont get the air in the back. i guess this is because there isnt a "face A/C output". i tried puttin the center vents in the front towards the back and up a little, no help. id rate it maybe 6 juss beacuse of the no air in the back. they coulda put a cieling vent or sumthin.

^^^ Agreed, when it's about 30F outside and 2 minutes down the road, it's like a flippin toaster
It appears some in this thread haven't done their Defrost AC switch disconnect homework like good little fitfreakers.
j/k, but seriously, best mod ever and it takes literally 2 minutes.

Well temps are droppin now in ND...think we're lucky if we break 32f for a high now. Takes about 2...maybe 3 min for the cold engine/coolant ind. light to turn off(driving normally...no idle) When it starts droppin -0 I'll let it warm up a little bit to get oil up top but yea. Guess I could turn the heat off so it warms up a bit faster lol but yea...that's pushin it

I just tucked mine up now, while I don't need it. When it's 30 Celcius below, believe me any fussiness about plugs sticking out quickly disappears!
oh please disregard my answer. I read the question wrong. if your fan is off, the ac also turns off.

The AC will not operate in very cold weather due to low refrigerant pressure.
