i got a huge problem, i bought a honda jazz a while ago as a front ender, sorted the body out but the engine is stuck on limp mode i have spent tons on this little fit getting the bodywork right, its fully factory standard 3000miles on the clock, 1.4 engine and wont go over 2k r.p.m is there any way in getting it out of limp mode

is the check engine light on? have it diagnosed with a scanner.

 

engine swap! K20!!!

 

tkae off the center counsel and there should be a plastic clip on one of the sides of the shifter and it is probably stuck down. or you could do the key release it is a removable tab you start the car with one key or a flat head jamed down there and turn the car on in the drive position it will not engage the gear but it might trick the computer into thinking it is out of limp mode. hope that helps.

 

what is limp mode? mine is stuck in WOT mode since my spoon exhaust installment.

 

my bus in the morning is real limp, down hill is the only way to go lol maybe because its the engine cold but i doubt it. up the hill, we look behind us and look at the traffic we made i wanna pic it but im not bringin dat to skool. i swear i can prolly judge its 10 mph tops at maybe 1000 RPM, even on flat roads. funny everytime lol
