Mugen Lip Sides Lower?

I just had a Mugen lip installed on my car and although the front is a fine height, I've noticed the sides are lower than the front. (I can't really put 4 fingers under it which is the legal limit here) Is it meant to be like this or was it install incorrectly?

I'm just getting worried because there is a train track I have to cross on the way to uni everyday which I generally go over at around 70 km/h (the speed limit) since the flow of traffic is quite busy so I'm worried what'll happen should I hit the tracks at that speed and height.

A friend of mine had an older Accord (or Prelude?). I can't remember now. Anyway, as the car went over the tracks, the front end dipped down a bit leaving the front lip in the middle of the road to be run over by a transport. Is the track rather smooth? Or is there a bit of a bump?

It's not overly bumpy since it's been flattened out for the road, but it's still fairy hard to cross smoothly even for a stock car.
