Skunk2s are on!

Believe it or not I had a much easier time lowering the car than I did installing JDM tail-lights Took me three hours flat to install the springs, big thanks to Tofuman for the DIY (especially the bit about turning the wheels to afford more clearance. No axle poppage at all. And the stance is perfect! So far the ride is nearly OEM, just a little bit harsher over the biggest bumps but nothing too awful. If you are on the fence about doing springs yourself, I say if you have a modest collection of tools and a little bit of know-how Go For IT! Paying a shop to do this install is a huge waste of money trust me....
On a side note; my front tires are damn near shot at just under 25K the inside edges are worn waaayyyy worse than the rest of the tread also, looks like an alignment and a set of tires are in my future.

Theres some pics in the Pics/Video forum under Dirty Low Down I went up to Summit Point and took some photos of the filthy dirty Fit right after I got done putting the springs on. After driving to and from work for a couple of days I must say that I love the Skunk2s! The ride is really close to OE IMHO, and the car looks soooooo much better without the cartoony wheel gap.

I will probably get the T1R struts and shocks when the time comes. I had KYB AGXs on my lowered Jetta Wagon and they were really fantastic. But alas no fit for the Fit. The T1Rs seem like a really good option+ adjustable FTW!

I don't think they have any other part #s for just the springs. Although you could do like 85% of Fitfreak and go to coil-overs within a month of putting on springs LOL Sam21 still has his springs for sale, they're Skunk-Nabes. Thats Skunk2 in the front and Tanabe DF210 in the rear, that combo is supposed to have zero rake. And his are used like mine are so they should be just as low as mine right out of the box. Annnnnddddd hes selling them for 70 bux shipped! I know, I'm a vicious enabling bastard.....
