Which GD?

Which GD?
There are two GDs for sale in my area; I'm seriously considering buying one. It will be my DD but will be modded.
1. 2007 Blaze Orange Metallic, 31.5k miles, asking $12.5k
2. 2008 Storm Silver Metallic, 10.5k miles, asking $15.8k
Both are sport 5MT (the only way I'd even consider). Both are one owner, Carfax verified. Both appear to be in great shape, presumably elderly driven.
My current EK coupe has 203k miles and my brother also has a Acura CL with 177k, so with high mileage isn't a big deal to me (not that 30k is high). And since the GD has been for sale all over the world prior to 07 I'm not worried about first year glitches and whatnot. Does anyone see a reason to pay a ~$3k premium for the 08?
A GE is also a possibility, but I sort of have an affinity for the GD.

i would do the 2007 BOM so you don't have to worry about mounting/remounting TPMS sensors when you change your wheels. also, if both GD's were elderly driven then you can bet that they've probably never even seen 5k rpm HA!

The fit orange is a washed out, dull orange, not the amazing orange of the ford edge or mitsu eclipse.
However, it was still my first choice in color. It was not available when I needed to purchase, so I settled for the next funky color -- purple.
Plus, with the SSM car, you're basically paying $1650 per 10k miles. Why? It's a honda; you know 20k miles is nothing.

That's a tough call. Would I pay 3 grand to take 20k miles off my car right now? Not likely. 2 grand and I'd think about it . . . but yeah, no TPMS on the '07's is nice.
That said, I don't think the blaze orange metallic is attractive at all. If it were me, I'd keep looking for an '07 in a nicer color . . . but if you like it, go for it. That's a great price for an '07 Sport MT. I paid a couple grand more than that for mine a few months ago.

Blaze Orange Metallic...I'm biased.
BOM looks washed out and faded when the car is not clean and not in the sunlight.
but if it's sunny and the car is clean it looks amazing.
This was actually my third choice in color. I wanted a VBP first then a SSM second but after living with this color I wouldn't pick any other color. Picking the color of your car is a personal thing, and it just kind of becomes you.

adding... there aren't enough BOMs that are tastefully modded. its just annoying because this color has the potential to stand out in a very good way..
i'll add some pics of my BOM.
rims i'm thinking about getting:
before it was lowered:

I suggest SSM, lower milage... and u only need to spend an extra 3K. Divide 3K to 20K miles and u basically paying an extra 15 cent per mile. Mileage goes a long way IMO - even if the fit are pretty reliable cars.
And if you are going to mod ur car, you should prolly start off from a cleaner car...
