why do i love my Fit so much?

i don't have a clue.

-it's not the fastest car i've ever had. (Datsun 280Z)
-not the "coolest"....... by far (Datsun 280Z)
-not the most comfortable. ('85 Nissan Maxima)
-not the cheapest on gas. ('93 Toyota Corrola)
-it's definitely not the sexiest. ('93 Honda Prelude)

BUT I LOVE THIS CAR!!!! THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT IT THAT I CAN'T EXPLAIN.

when i park my car and walk away, i just look back and admire it. i can't help but smile at my beautiful Abigail.

I agree...and I truly love the fact that at 3 years old and 85,000 miles, it drives and feels the EXACT same as it did the day it came off the lot. There are not many cars that you can say that about...

That color looks so sick with the headlights/rims contrast. Really wicked looking man, the only thing that I'd do is a black roof.

Oh wait, I am.

The Fit is a gorgeous car. Everything flows and with just a few mods it can be YOUR OWN. Although I feel once i started doing mods I'll never stop.

i feel the same way, but i promised myself to not buy anything else till next year. i hope i can keep that promise. i'm saving some money for the T1R shocks or a set of coilovers (i don't know which ones yet).

Lol, I thought I was the only one that did this.

A funny bit about myself and my Fit....I've been freaking out all week-because we've had construction crews with large trucks & trailers working all around our office all week working on two different sites. Some of them have rudely been taking over our parking spaces and parking equipment and trailers all around without asking. Anyway, everyday I'd go outside & check on my little Fit every so often, just to make sure they haven't hit it with something or scratched it.
Just when I thought I was just being a little bit to anal about it, my boss goes to leave and backs over one of their stupid long trailers they pulled in behind his SUV (blocking him in), and he ran over it cause he didn't know it was there.

Anyway, love my Fit.

yeah man, these ricers are so annoying. i love it when ricers with mis-matched body kits and fart cans rev their engines. why do some people think that looks cool? today, i saw a purple supra with a widebody kit rolling on stockers. ifor so long at the wal-mart parking lot. i know, i know!! pics or it didn't happen but i will find this idiot again, it's hard not to miss that rice bowl.

This forum is why i have a Fit! I wasn't sure if I wanted one, my hubby wanted me to get a Rav4 (boring). I was doing some searching and came across a big photo of someone's blackberry pearl Fit in the sunlight and nearly fell off my chair! OMG it was the prettiest car I had ever seen! And the funny thing was, that I had driven one not 2 weeks before, but it was a rainy day and I thought it was just navy blue and nothing special!!! I knew I wanted one. It took me forever to find the one I did, and it was mine because someone else turned it back in after driving it a month. But even slightly used, I was totally in love with it.

That was 8 months ago. I haven't modded it much, just put in a 3rd brake light that says "FIT" and got my personal plates and my fitfreak.net sticker...but I still park it WAY far away from any other cars, and I still turn around to look at it again as I walk away. It warms my heart to go back to it.

Good thread. And I love your rims.

I think its because of the basic "goodness" that Honda puts into everything they make. The Fit just has an all around right-ness to it that has always appealed to me, from my first drive to today. And +1 on the looking back at it thing, took the fam to sonic for supper the other night and I went for a walk like three times just so I could look at it under the lights....LOL I love me some Fit!

i don't have black billet grill but thanks man. i appreciate it.

the tidewater blue is the most underrated color for the fit. i love how it "changes" it hue in different lighting situations.

The fit, I've learned, is just a really, really endearing little car. It does what it does very very well and has lots of modern personality at the same time. It makes smart choices fun.

I have to agree. My wife had been feeling guilty for quite some time driving a 4Runner and wanted something smaller. We went to the Honda dealer to check out the CRV. We were debating between that and a Rav4. As we were leaving the dealership my wife stopped for a minute to look at a FIT Sport in the show room. Then she got in and sat down. That was it. We both really liked it and bought one after a short test drive. If I had to find anything to complain about it would be the black interior. If that's the biggest problem I have I've got it made.
