how does your GD3 ABS sound?

Mine sounds like the "wheel" from "Wheel of (mis)Fortune". you know, when the ppl spin it and the little stick thing makes that crazy noise.... I am not crazy!
Just want to make sure everyone else's does this too. another car i had didn't sound like this when i stomped the brakes. then again it was a P.O.S. pontiac grand ma.

sounds like:

Mine sounds similar to that.

And every car I've had also sounds like that.

Not sure if it's the ABS, but when I do heavy braking for awhile I'll get a rough buzzing feel/sound. Feels like the rotors/pads are all mushy and literally sticky. Makes me wanna get stainless steel brake lines to see if it'll solve the problem.

sorry guys, but brand new rotors and stainless steel brakelines will only make you stop faster and help modulate brakes better...

because intrusive abs noise is a honda hallmark and exemplary on the fit. i've driven honda's in the past and they have all had this, the fit has it the worst. my rabbit had abs too, but it was silent, or at least never made its prescence known to me.

especially when you run stiff suspension the Fit's abs overreacts.

i run soft sprung endura-techs and the new fusion summer tires.
i rarely get any abs noise these days. only in the rain when
i slam on the brakes i get a little but not much.

The first time I had the ABS kick in, it made me wonder if I hadn't somehow lost a CV or front wheel bearing. Grinding rocks it what it sound like to me.
