k20z3 is from the 03-05 civic Si hatch right? Don't do that. K20a2 from rsx type-s is the best unless you're baller and go k20a jdm integra type R motor. Or go crazy with a k24. Or k20 head, k24 block

i believe k20a jdm type r motor has the same specs as the canadian version. so if you want to go that route, look north of the border.

no the axles arent the same. what you need is

k20 engine and transmission
kpro engine management
wiring harness
engine mounts
axles

its alot of work and its going to get VERY pricey. do your research. there are a few threads here documenting peoples swaps. i suggest you read every page of every one of those threads before you ask another question. good luck man!

Since no one bothered to answer your main question, let me be the first. lol

Currently there are no hybrid engine swaps that will directly swap into the 2001-2008 Honda Fit, and in order to "jimmy" a K-Series engine into the GD chassis you're definitely looking at alot of time, effort, fabrication, and money spent.

You'll most definitely need to have the intake, exhaust, header, mounts, radiator, etc. either customized or fabricated in order for it to fit within the small engine bay, and if memory serves me you'll also need to customize the radiator support in order to house a larger engine, among other areas of the vehicle.

stock radiator can be used. you have to notch the frame to fit the transmission and you have to notch the top of the radiator support to fit a snail type intake off a civic si. that is, unless you decide to do an individual throttle body setup.

here is an awesome article on the subject

HELL NO! lol It's an economy vehicle that is meant to consume as little to no gas as possible.

With that said however, there are both Turbocharger (T1R or HKS) and Supercharger (Kraftwerks) kits currently on the market that can help make the vehicle alot more competitive yet entertaining.

What is your goal with the car? AutoX or Drag? If you do want more power and not cost you an arm is go turbo.

As for is the Fit 5 Speed is it fast? hmmmm no not really not at all

The Canadian CSX Type-S does not use JDM Type-R K20A motor. It uses the same one as the USDM Civic Si K20Z3.
There is nothing wrong using the K20Z3. Type-R is DBW and so is the SI.

the gd3 has an l15a and the ge8 has an l15a7

full bolt ons will yield a maximum of 10-15hp and im talking full exhaust, intake, intake manifold, lighten crank pulley, and spark plugs...

i would say save up your money and get a supercharger since it will be good reliable bolt on power.
