Everywhere I go

I see them. Fit's I mean. When I first got mine I had only seen one other Fit (base model though) now I see at least two every week. I'm not sure how I feel about that. I even saw a vivid blue pearl blue (color of my car).

Though there was one Fit sport I didn't mind seeing. Yesterday I saw my first taffeta white fit. I would be lying if I said my jaw didn't drop from the beauty of it. Taffeta white was my first choice.

I knew this would happen, but I can still say why

TW was nearly everyone's first choice lol

why ask why? the Fit is a bad ass, utilitarian, fun to drive, and economical car. IMO it's one of the few entry level sub-compacts that is still a car and not an appliance.

the way i see it, more fits on the road are a good thing. more of our cars on the road means more reason for aftermarket companies to continue making stuff for our cars and more OEM replacement parts in junk yards.

I don't have any problems or questions about seeing another Fit on the road. It is a given answer and it is expected to see it on the road like any other car. I was actually expecting to see more of it due to the car is cheap and gives good gas mileage but my expectations was wrong due to I only see Fits 2-3 times a week and my travel time is long so I spend my time travelling from home to work.

All the Fits I see don't even acknowledge me. I usually try to wave or nod.

In the pacific NW there are fits everywhere as well, I can't blame them, I love mine! I think I'll see at least a couple a day really... once at gamestop when returning to my car I noticed my car wouldn't unlock at first, then realized there was an identical sport parked right next to mine that I didn't see due to the angle I approached. It is a common car but I wouldn't say that is a bad thing, the more well made cheap economical and spacious cars they sell the better! I remember when every other car was an escalade or H2 :P

Some people in the US are still obsessed with giant vehicles with giant engines. You won't see to many of them on this message board though lol.

Hehe yeah Americans are still into riding up high and having irresponsibly large vehicles, but I think compared to early 2000's it has definitely gone down quite a bit thanks to cars like Fit and Prius and crossovers and such.

The last of the truly BIG cars sold here was the 79 Lincoln Town Car.... I bought one in great condition in 1993 after driving VWs for most of the time for 23 years and was astounded that I could inch forward into an intersection just to be able to see what was coming from either side and tires would start screeching as people slowed down to let me through.... I'm glad they did or I'd have been stuck there waiting forever because of the almost non existent acceleration of that under powered over geared boat..... I still like the old Cadillacs of the 50s and 60s... They weren't as thirsty as a lot of the lesser priced full size cars and actually handled very well if equipped with H.D. shocks and Michelin tires.... American trucks are great if you have a load to carry and SUVs are just plain stupid unless you really need one because nothing else with less ground clearance and all wheel or 4 wheel drive will make it to where you live year round..... Road and bridge repair cost will drop and urban traffic congestion will be less of a hassle if people with the need to compensate for whatever physical, social, or psychological shortcomings they are afflicted with could find some other means of dealing with their problem other than competing with others of the same ilk by driving 2 or 3 times the vehicle than what they need or have have a real use for..... It seems that most of the accidents that occur around here involve pick up trucks and American built SUVs.

I tend to fly by other fits, sometimes they give chase out of curiosity I think, but they never really catch up. An old couple in a GE smiled and waved the other day though.

Everywhere I go, I see MINI Coopers. It makes me regret getting rid of my '03 MINI Cooper S... Especially since it 1) was paid off, 2) was the fastest MINI in Idaho, 3) had over $2000 worth of performance in it, 4) was sexier than any Fit.

Every time I see a Fit, I think, "I bet they weren't stupid enough to buy a lemon," because I bought a Fit with too much wrong with it, without knowing.
