New Fit Freak in Town

Hi Everyone,

Picked up a 2008 Honda Fit Sport MT with 12K miles over the weekend. I traded in my Mazda RX-8, which I miss, but the Fit is proving to be a great car so far. It handles very well for a FWD, actually for any car, and I had to start saving some fuel, so this was the perfect car for all my needs. Its also my first Honda, so I hope to learn a lot from everyone. BTW I live in NYC.

Smile Welcome Big Bird

Yesssss we do! The Fit should provide to be a perfect city car, it can turn and be parked were alot of other cars can't. So get some pix of your Fit in the Big Apple and post 'em up! That will be a Great Back Drop!

I came from an RX-8 as well. You'll sleep better at night not worrying about your engine dying, how much it's going to cost to fill up tomorrow, or how much it's going to cost to replace the tires.

very true...plus i was worried more about the transmission than anything else. i have since put 1K miles on my fit in about 2 weeks, and it has been thoroughly enjoyable, especially at the pump. what a big change.

its true what they say...more fun to drive a slow car fast, than a fast car slow. (not that our car is slow )
