Stereo problem in Ireland.
Hi, Im here in Lovely old Ireland, Im kinda new to all this but anyway somebody out there might be able to help me, Ive just bought a 2002 black Honda Fit 1.3, its a lovely car with only 23,000 miles on the clock.
Its a Japanese import which is ok but so is the stereo. The stereo is a Panasonic CQ-AV7000 flip screen TV/ MP3/ CD which is great but it will only tune into AM or FM stations up to 89.0 FM. In Ireland there is only one FM station up to 89.0 and it is pretty useless to say the least.
Does anyboby know can it be re-programmed to search past 89.0 FM or do i have to replace the stereo. All the text on the screen is in japanese also so i cant even read it.
I have contacted Panasonic and Honda all to no avail.

Any help with this is greatly appreciated.
"Go raibh maith agut" (Thanks very much in Irish).
Paddy.

Japanese radio range doesn't work in our country too. Of course you don't need to replace the stereo, it can be re-programmed, for example, my stereo shows me 83.2 FM, though the actual range is 103.2 FM.
I reprogrammed it in service center.
