Question

I'm also interested in getting the Konig Feather with the 195/50/15 tires. The guy at the tire didn't recommend the Konig Feather because he said that the offset is +38mm vs +45mm for the regular rims. Would there be an issue with this?

if the rim is 7in wide like i think it is, you'll have to do some fender rolling, but you can run them. is your car lowered? if not you might not even have to roll your fenders.

I don't plan on lowering my Fit. So you think it should be ok and it wouldn't rub eh?

This is the way I see it too... 205-50-16 GTs on 7"' wide 38 offset wheels won't work at all on a GD... They are some very heavy tires in the 205-50-16 size... 195-50-15 on 338 offset would look great and have great traction... My wife always comments on how nice the tires look on my Fit...

So in your opinion, it's ok to install the 195/50/15 on the Konig Feather with 38 offset, if the car is not lowered? If so, maybe the guy at the tire store doesn't know what he's talking about. I really like the Konig Feather and ideally would like to put them on 195/50/15.

The 195-50-15 Is fine on a 7" rim but some places won't install them for safety reasons... They are slightly more difficult to inflate when being installed but they are 7.677" wide which isn't going to create a safety hazard unless you grind off the lip of the rim on a curb.. You would find yourself in the same situation with an 8.03" 205-50... A tiny 0.1615" from making contact with the inner part of the rim when there is 0 PSI in it.... 0.323 from 7.677 is nothing to worry about.
