This, that is a huge spacer too. If you're going 20mm you'll need extended studs.

You'll rub. I'm on a +32 offset. You'll need a major fender roll with a pull. 20mm spacer (adapter type) wont need extended studs. I suggest buying a 15mm spacer. It will save you some trouble and it will still rub, just not as hardcore.

Yeah I ordered the silver ones n it's coming at the end of July. Thinking about powdercoating it a different color though. haven't decided which color yet, but definately going to need wheel spacers.

I would suggest a 10mm. You shouldn't need new studs and +42 should bring the wheel very close to the fender with little to no rubbing.

I have been thinking of getting those spoons as wheel, jsut really wish they made a 16"

Yep, there was a thread about this in the ajr forums
https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/aj-r...93-wheels.html

10 mm is for minimal work to your fenders or none at all. But yea, I'd still get a 15 for the more flush look.

get 6 mm 9i/4"0 spacers so your offset then will be 46 mm. Probably OK with your 1.6" drop.
(weve found that many dropos don't match the advertised ones so measure yours: fender cnter point before and after drop on all 4 wheels.)
And the 205/40x17 tire is same diameter as stock pre09 but is heavier. Actually 195/40x17's will work better for mpg and acceleration; no penalty cornering by comparison. And no rubbing as we have one here so equipped on 45 mm offset. cheers.

Well i have a set of 17x7+45 and it doesnt rub with my drop, but i want the offset to be a little more flush so it will look a little more aggressive. I didnt know about the 195 tires doing that so i might get a 195 tire setting.
