I am new here. I bought a base Fit as a second car. Since I will drive it sometimes, I would like it to look a bit more complete. I was wondering which lip kit can be install bolt-on on the base model. There is the sport lip kit, but I kind of heard that the sides were not easily install. Anyone got experience with the password jdm lip kit?

2.5" garage door bottom seal, self tapping screws, and a razor blade... looks better than garden liner lips but both are still tacky, IMO

the PW lip kit looks like the same ebay replica Fit sport lip kit.. install should be the same as honda oem, minus all the extra support brackets.

 

when buying a kit, make sure you realize that no kit except the honda kit from a dealer will fit perfectly. i have 2 fits. my 04 jdm fit rhd has a complete Seibon carbon fibre kit on it and i had to be extra careful because cf breaks easily if not installed carefully. if you dont mind spending $1500 for a kit painted to your car color then just go get the front lip, back lip, side skirts, and rear spoiler fron a local honda dealership. they come pre-painted and the installation is fairly simple.

 

So does the fit sport OEM body kit fit the non sport Fit?

 

yes. it does. i called the dealership and they told me to check with honda of north america. they told me it does and just to double check I called a friend of mine that works for Honda R&D in Suzuka Japan and he said that all fits come out as a base model, and then are sent to final assembly and some get turned into a sport by adding the body kit, adding the multi function steering wheel, and the aux input jack and the wheels and fog lights.
