Come in and Vote. HELP!

Today i stupididly jumped in my car in a rush and backed into my sisters CRV. No damage to her car and just rear bumper damage. I dont like anything on my car damaged so im already shopping for what im going to do.

There's 2 options. A stock rear bumper or an ings replica rear bumper.

I do not like the whole ings kit at all the skirts are square and the front bumper is to much going on. But i love the rear bumper. Can I rock it with the stock sport kit? Will it look cheesy?

Here is a pic of my fit. And a pic of the rear bumper.

I really like this bumper. I like the black painted part and the diffusers on the bottom. It doesnt seem to go much lower then the stock skirts. HELP!

i think it would look awkward with just a rear bumper body kit. If you want the ings bumper you could try to mix and match with other skirts and bumpers from another kit. for now i would go oem.

Looking at the way the INGS rear bumper is on the Fits above, it seems like the bottom of the bumper will be lower than your OEM side skirts.

alrite i understand replica fitments sometimes arent great but a little work at the body shop will be fine. This bumper is not aggressive at all the sides on the bottoms would flow with the stock skirts but my main concern is how low this bumper will do. Gotta remember rite now theres a bumper and a lip and it's higher up then the skirt. But the new piece is just a larger one bumper piece. Can anyone get a measurement of how tall this piece is so i can get an actual thought of how far it will go passed the rear bumper now?

Much much further could the bumper go down if the exhaust still sits in the rite spot.

I say oem, but pick up something from overseas. Like the JDM/EDM rear bumper, then start collecting parts for the front end too.

Guys the JDM is out of the question. I can't be cutting or removing the crash bar in the rear end. This is still my dads car for another year until im out of college.

Does anyone have the ings body kit. I need someone to measure how long it is to see if it will match up correctly with the stock side skirts. I dont like the whole kit, it's ugly as hell but I feel like this rear bumper really does something for the car.

I disagree with everybody... I think the ings bumper would look pretty cool, just don't put all that extra plastic crap on the hatch like in the 3rd picture.

I would say ings if ur going to go agressive. I would say oem if ur not moding out ur car. By agressive i mean coils, exaust, wheels, lip J's, Grill J's and some other goodies. But if ur trying to stay close to stock keep oem

I have cat-back exhaust and some pretty heavy exterior modifications with the paint the tint and the visors. I do plan on doing some coils and wider wheels once the car is mine but rite now I was planing on ordering some spacers for the HFP's some lug adapters and some colored after market lugs.

My main concern about the ings bumper is the fact that it mite not line up correctly with the OEM skirts. I really dont like the ings skirts or the ings front end. But I love the rear bumper. I'm hoping hondafittuner emails me back so i can get a measurement to make sure it will look rite.

Anywhere else i can purchase the replica that anyone knows of.

EVERYONE keep voting even though im leaning towards the ings im still listening to others opinions. I do wish i could go jdm but thats just not an option.

Dang im at work so pics don't work i will check once i get home. But sounds like it would look good on ur car. If any thing if it does not line up i'm sure you can get a body shop to shave it down. Honda Fit tunner is a good shop i use to live down the street from them. The owner is Vinney and that is his 07 Fit in all the pics. Great guy and i'm sure he will get back to you or call the shop. He might even be able to tell you or show you how it would look with the stock kit?? You never know it does not hurt to ask

I think the Ings bumper would look better since the oem bumper already sits higher than the front lip, you'll actually have some balance between the two with the ings bumper.

so i say yes plus i love the black diffuser part.

I like the Ings, it's not so boxy looking as the OEM. The black diffuser gives it sort of a VW Golf style of look from behind. The contours of the OEM under the tail lights look so squared off, as opposed to the Ings. To me, personally, I think the Ings flows better with the body lines of the car. The Ings looks like it should be OEM than the OEM. LOL! I may look into purchasing one for my SSM.
