We attended the Wheels for Wishes car show yesterday for a great cause Make A Wish Foundation - they raised over $1200.00 for the kids and we had a great time. I won this as a door prize which was pretty
sweet:



Then the Fit won this:



There were several tuners from VW, Audi, Infinite, and several Hondas even my favorite a CRX. One of the kids who was given his wish from the foundation from our area helped with the judging for the speciality trophies. This makes number 13 trophy so far - we have two more shows and that will be it until next year. The GD3 is still hanging in there.

Cat, I love seeing you winning all of these trophies and having such a great time.... Keep it up, it must be therapeutic for me because I end up with a smile on my face every time you post a picture of a new win.

 

WOW!!! Good job Cat. Seems like you folks have more car shows than the West coast. Unfortunately we don't have that many here...wish we did though Oh yeah..don't take something apart on your ride with that "sparkling- new" wrench set and not be able to put it back together!!LOL

Thanks All! I have to say that the MR Fits puts a lot of smiles on the faces of the judges because you just don't see modified Fits in our area and certainly not one being shown by a 54 year old lady! We have gone to 10 shows this year alone and the Fit trophied in 8 of them - that is a pretty good record!

I promise not to experiment on the Fit with the new socket set but I do plan to put them to use when I get my project car going.

Yup! You guessed it! My first choice is a CRX hatch, or a S2K - will do a nice restore from inside and out. That will become the show car that I will enjoy my retirement years showing at local car shows. I can't think of a better way to enjoy it than showing a nice Honda with all the young tuners - those guys keep me young at heart!
